Judy Johnson earned an undergraduate degree from Agnes Scott College in Decatur, Georgia. In 1982, she graduated from the University of San Francisco School of Law where she was a member of the honor society and the law review. She first practiced in San Francisco with two major law firms (Bronson, Bronson & McKinnon from 1982-1985 and Lillick and Charles from 1985-1988) before forming Camerlengo & Johnson in 1988.
